Step 1: Create a Professional Fan Page

Log‐in to Facebook and create a page while logged in your personal profile. Choose from the main categories of the Pages and decide which one fits your business.

Choose a category ‐The name of your Page will be whatever you put into the box just under the Category menu.

Step 2: Fill‐up the 'Basic Information' section

Create a powerful 'About' content: You get to convince your audience and give a comprehensive idea about your business in just 2‐3 lines.

Upload profile picture: This image will serve as the face of your brand on Facebook. Ideal image size is 180 X 180 pixels; however, any perfectly square image is good enough. This image will show‐up when you post a comment and in search results.

More business details: Fill‐up all necessary details and description in ‘About’ section. Cover Photo: All covers are public. This means that anyone who visits your Page will be able to see your cover. Covers can't be deceptive, misleading, or infringe on anyone else's copyright.

By now, your Facebook fan page is complete. Do not start paid campaign at this moments, as there isn't much content for the users to get convinced.

2. Keep 20% posts/day for promotion and 80% posts/day for education

  • Post lead-generation posts (promotional) such as: Webinars, ebooks, downloads, business products, services, promotion, offer announcement etc.
  • Determine ideal timing and frequency of Facebook posts based on your demography and industry. Use Facebook insights or online tools for the job.
  • Target specific group of audience (age, gender, location, language, interests, preference etc) using Facebook publishing tool.
  • Pin important posts to the top of the page.
  • Monitor and respond to comments on your page.

Step 5: Increase Social Reach
