Local Business or Place: Select this option if and only if you have a physical store in the area. This type of page as a “check‐in” feature.
Company, Organization or Institution: For most businesses this is the right option.
Brand or Product: For companies focusing on products, not services.
Artist, Band or Public Figure: For celebrities and famed personalities
Entertainment: For movies, music, songs, TV‐series etc.
Cause or Community: It's like an official Facebook group, where users can follow who have a similar interest.
Choose a category ‐The name of your Page will be whatever you put into the box just under the Category menu.
Step 2: Fill‐up the 'Basic Information' section
Create a powerful 'About' content: You get to convince your audience and give a comprehensive idea about your business in just 2‐3 lines.
Upload profile picture: This image will serve as the face of your brand on Facebook. Ideal image size is 180 X 180 pixels; however, any perfectly square image is good enough. This image will show‐up when you post a comment and in search results.
More business details: Fill‐up all necessary details and description in ‘About’ section. Cover Photo: All covers are public. This means that anyone who visits your Page will be able to see your cover. Covers can't be deceptive, misleading, or infringe on anyone else's copyright.
By now, your Facebook fan page is complete. Do not start paid campaign at this moments, as there isn't much content for the users to get convinced.
